Feeling trapped in a dating rut? Many people experience fatigue from dating after encountering a series of unsuccessful dates and relationships.
I get where you’re coming from. It’s challenging to muster the motivation for another date, especially when you anticipate it might not go well. The uncertainty of how the date will unfold can be discouraging and lead to a lack of excitement.
I’m going to give you a dating challenge to make you feel more excited again.
What if, instead of planning a boring date at a place you hate to go, you made a plan that you enjoyed? Contrary to what many people think, the man doesn’t have to plan the date.
What if you planned a fun date that included activities that you love to do?
This is an example.
You should not agree to go on a date at a mini-golf course or bowling alley if you dislike the sport. If you enjoy painting or pool, invite your date out to a class in painting or for billiards. Plan a date you will enjoy, even if the relationship doesn’t work out. You will feel better, be more yourself and appear more genuine.
You can use these journal prompts as a way to get you excited about dating and end the dating rut.
